Captain Carl Ronco

Captain Carl Ronco has forged a distinguished career at the York County Sheriff's Office, currently serving as Operations Captain. In this pivotal role, he meticulously oversees the facility's physical security, ensuring the safety of both staff and residents. With a wealth of experience spanning corrections, court security, and reserve patrol, Captain Ronco has worked with seven different administrations at the Sheriff's Office. 

 

His exceptional dedication and expertise were acknowledged in 2016 with the Meritorious Service Award, a testament to his outstanding leadership as Sergeant in charge of Intake. Throughout his tenure, Captain Ronco has remained steadfast in his pursuit of excellence and public service, consistently striving to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the Sheriff's Office. His profound understanding of law enforcement operations continues to make him an indispensable asset to the York County Sheriff's Office.
