Biography
Civil Deputy Supervisor Brad Paul is the supervisor of the Civil Division. Brad has worked for the York County Sheriff's Office for 6 1/2 years. Brad's career in law enforcement began right after his high school graduation, when he joined the United States Army and received his training as a military police officer. Following his two-year enlistment, he was hired as a summer reserve by the Kennebunkport Police Department, before joining the Saco Police Department in August 1976. Brad went on to serve nearly 41 years with Saco, including 21 years as a patrol sergeant, and nearly 15 as Chief. He was appointed to the Maine Criminal Justice Academy Board of Trustees in 2008 as the Maine Chiefs of Police representative and stayed on until his retirement in December 2016.
Brad remains active with the Maine Chiefs of Police Association, is an active Rotarian, and volunteers in Saco's HandyNeighbors program, which focuses on helping the elderly and handicapped stay in their homes longer by doing small carpentry and other tasks for them.
