Where did you grow up and go to school?
I grew up in Wells, Maine, and attended York County Community College
What prompted you to decide to seek employment with York County government?
I was looking for a new opportunity and wanted to be closer to home.
How long have you worked for county government and in what capacities? What is your current title?
I am with York County Government’s Human Resource team as the Human Resource Clerk. I have been with the county since May. My focus is on helping with recruitment and wellness.
What did you do before joining York County government?
I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for the last 15 years and was employed for the Department of Health Agencies at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in occupational health for the last 5 years.
What do you like most about your current job?
My team and being able to learn a new career that allows me to bring my years of experience with wellness, occupational Health, and office management to the employees of York County.
When you’re not working, what do you like to do?
Next to raising three amazing kids with my husband, I enjoy crafting, camping, and most of all being a volunteer softball coach for the Massabesic Little league.
